Spiral wound metal gasket :

 

Spiral wound gasket (basic type) is made by superposing, winding and welding V-type or W-type stainless steel tape and non-metallic filing. It is usually wound by stainless steel, 304,304L,316,316L,321,Ta Mon400, Inconel, asbestos (graphite, PTFE, mica, ceramic) tape used for special-purposed equipments.

Equipment: It is used as static sealing material for pipeline, valve, pump, pressure vessel, condenser, tower, manhole and hand holes flange connection parts;

Industry: It can be used in petrifaction, machinery, electric power, metallurgy, shipbuilding, medicine, atomic energy, space navigation and so on.

Medium: It is suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure steam, oil, gas, solvent, hot oil and so on.
